OCEAN Samsung – São Paulo (SP) e Manaus (AM)
Selected by Samsung to host the first OCEAN project outside of South Korea, Brazil received in São Paulo and Manaus two units of the technological training center aimed at students, developers and the public interested in technology. Both projects were developed by architect Tatiana Doro and delivered in 2014. According to Tatiana, the biggest challenges in both cases are also the biggest differentials of the OCEANs: the use of colors and the open architecture. “It took a thorough study of Samsung’s guideline to extract the colors and materials that the company’s standards allowed for use and a bit of boldness to prove – and approve – that it was possible and positive to use open spaces for a development environment,” account. The units have 480m2 in São Paulo and 580m2 in Manaus. For furniture used in courses, lectures, trainings and in general, Tatiana chose Cetus, Athos, Phobus chairs, Focus sofas and Axis and Ara tables. In addition to the differentiated quality of the products, another decisive factor for choosing Chromma was the deadline for delivery of the project. “I already knew Chromma for the seriousness and credibility and in projects of this size, it is very important to count on the deadline of the suppliers so as not to be harmed by any fines,” says Tatiana. “Out of service, which is also special.”
Office La Rouge Belle – São Paulo (SP)
For a tasteful client’s office, the challenge of interior designer Christina Hamoui was to meet all the functional demands of the company, combined with their own style and within the requested deadline. The project is the office of La Rouge Belle, lingerie brand created by blogger Lala Rudge. With 157m2, the project was delivered in 2015 and is located in São Paulo (SP). Among so many design solutions used to customize the office, the sophistication was mainly due to the mix of colors. “The use of rose with gray and gold certainly added to the elegance we were looking for,” says Christina. Athos chairs, used by the entire La Rouge Belle team and with matte details, added design to the ambiance and comfort for the staff’s work.
PUC Convention Center – Goiás (GO)
Located in Campus II of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (GO), the PUC Convention Center is a complex with 30,000 m2 of built area and has three floors, space for exhibitions and fairs, adaptable environments and 1,300 parking spaces. Open to activities since 2014, the space designed by the architect and professor Ruy Rocha, also includes the largest Goiás theater, with 3 thousand m2 and 2,600 seats. Thais Olivia Queiroz de Asuncion was the architect responsible for the layout and specification of the amphitheater furniture and suggested the Orion armchair to equip the place that demands quality and durability. The ergonomic characteristics, ABNT certification, contemporary design and cost-effectiveness were some of the qualities observed by Thais in relation to the Chromma product. “In addition, I also checked the concept of the company and other customers confirmed that Chromma offers quality furniture, with permanent maintenance and accuracy in meeting the deadline,” says the architect. “And even in front of prototypes of armchairs from other suppliers, the decision of the University Rectorate by Orion was unanimous,” he concludes.
